⦁ Extensibility. Approx. 55% Coating. Latex-free coating – zinc paste mass based on zinc oxide, castor oil, calamine and gelatine.

Description
- Zinc Oxide Paste: Keep the wound healing moist over the ulcer while eliminating itching
- Wound Healing: Promotes comfortable and soothing wound healing and cell reconstruction
- Glycerol: Moisturize and soothes skin
- Efficient Absorption: Topical steroid ointment or cream used under the bandage will be absorbed efficiently, making it sufficient to apply once a day
- Usability: Z Paste bandage can be left undisturbed for a week
- Applied as an adjunct to compression therapy in the management of Varicose Eczema or dermatitis and should be used without compression in case of normal Eczema conditions
- Where venous insufficiency exists some paste bandages may be used under graduated compression bandaging. However, careful assessment to exclude arterial disease must first be undertaken by an experienced practitioner
2. Management of Dermatitis, Cellulitis and Burn Treatment:
- Ideal bandage for the management of cellulitis and burn treatment
- Topical steroid ointment or cream used under the bandage will be absorbed efficiently, making it sufficient to apply once a day
3. Orthopedic Strapping
- Z Paste bandage can be left undisturbed for a week
- Method 1: Start applying from the base of the toes. The bandage should be loosely wrapped around the foot, heel and around the leg in a spiral fashion to just below the knee. Then smooth and moulds the bandage around the leg
- Method 2: Start applying from the base of the toes, the bandage should be loosely wrapped around the foot and heel. While wrapping from the ankle, apply a pleat, at the front of the leg. This should be repeated up to the leg until just below the knee
